The building was designed by Zantzinger, Borie and Medary. Lawrie was chosen as the scupltor for the building. He later worked again with Medary on Bok Tower in Florida.

On it, appear figures of all sorts, representing different aspects of life, to be insured. The figures are all prime examples of Lawrie's contributions to Art Deco. |
