In describing the Ideal Republic, justice is the harmony of human virtues.

According to Plato man is a political animal by nature and necessity.

 

 

Seated in the front row is his teacher, Socrates, and Aristotle listens attentively.

Plato's Republic was perhaps the first treatise on what how justice could be obtained in an ideal society.
