| This site is dedicated to advancing the scholarship, recognition and appreciation for the 20th Century German-American sculptor Lee Lawrie.
Lawrie's sculpture was done over a career that spanned seven decades, from the Gaslight Era until the Space Age.

My book is finally available for sale. For the next few days you may still purchase it at the Capitol Corner Gift Shop on the Ground Level at the Nebraska State Capitol Building.
Very soon, this gift shop will close down, (2-13) and after that it will be for sale at the Nebraska State Historical Society's Museum Store. If you care to buy it online, you may do so here. As the lone author, photographer, researcher, graphic artist and proofreader, I've had some typos in the current versions that have been eradicated in those published since the current ones were for sale. Mea Culpa.
You may listen to the brief story of it broacasts on 2-7 and 2-8 on NPRN by clicking here. My special thanks to Jerry Johnson at NPRN for making tis possible.
